Creative Ensemble - Sunday 1st September 2024

Join us for a FREE creative music making session for young instrumentalists aged 12-18 and in secondary education led by Laurie Rominger with musicians from Any Enemy.

The workshop involves playing as part of an ensemble and reading music, so participants need to be technically proficient on their instrument and have some experience of playing with others and reading musical notation. Approximate/equivalent standard for guidance is Grade 2 minimum.

Time: 1.30pm - 4pm
1.30 - 3.45pm Creative Ensemble workshop

3.45 - 4pm Creative Ensemble sharing (open to family and friends)

Venue: King’s Pavilion, University Road, University of Aberdeen AB24 3FX

We will have a small number of keyboards for pianists (offered on a first-come first-served basis) and there will be percussion available. All places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that the suggested ages are only a guideline - we encourage participants to attend the group that would be most beneficial to them at this point in their creative development. However, we typically recommend the Ensemble for young people who are already attending secondary school.
